Iran film ‘Villa Residents’ trailer released

Official trailer of acclaimed Iranian film ‘Villa Residents’ has been unveiled.

The film directed by Monir Qeidi who made her feature directorial debut with highly praised movie ‘Villa Residents’. She has worked as a script supervisor as well as assistant director on several films.

The female director also made short films such as ‘ Girl, Boy and the Old Man’ and ‘On the Way to Villa’ as well as the documentary ‘Tehran, the City of Plane Trees’.

Saeed Malekan collaborated in the cinematic project as the movie producer. He attended the 34th Fajr Festival with ‘Life +1 Day’ and ‘My Brother Khosro’. The former has been named as the highest grossing social movie in Iran cinema history.

The movie features Iranian star actress Tanaz Tabatabaee and highly represents female actors.

Best First Film Director Simorgh was presented to Qeidi for her directorial debut at the 2017 Fajr Film Festival.
