World-famous animation Cinderella has been made available for the visually impaired audiences.
To mark the World Children's Day, the Iranian CEVINA Group has prepared the animation, having Iranian star Vishka Asayesh as the narrator.
The narrated version of the film will broadcast from SEVINA Radio on November 20, 2020.
"Cinderella", or "The Little Glass Slipper", is a folk tale about unjust oppression and triumphant reward.
The protagonist is a young woman living in forsaken circumstances that are suddenly changed to remarkable fortune.
“After the death of her mother, her father remarried believing that she "needed a mother's care." Cinderella's father died shortly after and she was forced to work as a scullery maid for her wicked stepmother, Lady Tremaine and her two stepsisters, Anastasia and Drizella.
Despite the cruelty of her jealous stepfamily, Cinderella remained kind, spirited, and internally beautiful. Her faith and everlasting optimism manifested itself in a Fairy Godmother, whose magic served as a catalyst for Cinderella's ascent from servant to princess,” a synopsis of the animated piece reads.
Supervised by ifilm star Gelareh Abbasi, the CEVINA group (Cinema for Visually Impaired Audience) has been launched with the aim to make people with blindness and vision impairment to be able to watch their favorite movies independently.
