Majidi’s ‘Beyond the Clouds’ 2nd poster unveiled at Cannes

The second poster of Indian based film ‘Beyond the Clouds’ by Iranian filmmaker Majid Majidi has been unveiled at the Cannes Film Festival.

The second poster depicts a side view of the actor walking in a street illuminated by streetlight in a district inhabited by very poor people with a bundle in his hand.

 The picture shows the city from a different perspective. The situation of high buildings is very meaningful. The poster reflects contrast in a very meaningful way.

At the background of the poster there are high buildings overlapping against the slum, showing a perfect contrast and at the same time introduces the city of Mumbai.

The first poster of the India-based film was unveiled at the Berlin Film Festival in February featuring Ishaan along with the beautiful flamingos in Mumbai.

Both of the posters unveiled till now are very fascinating.

Majidi is a well-known filmmaker, screenwriter for his 1998 Oscar-nominated film ‘Children of Heaven’ and world cinema classics like ‘The Song of Sparrows’, ‘The Color of Paradise’ and ‘Baran’.
