Iranian short ‘Don’t Worry’ vying at Brazilian fest

Iranian ‘Don’t Worry’ is competing at the 2020 MOSCA – Cambuquira Short Film Festival in Brazil.

Iranian short flick ‘Don’t Worry’ has been vying at the 13th edition of the MOSCA – Cambuquira Short Film Festival in Brazil.

Written and directed by Mana Pakseresht, the short flick narrates the story of a teenager who is alone at home on her birthday due to self-quarantine.

Though, her mother, who is a nurse working in a hospital, has a surprise for the girl.

The only character of the flick is Yalda Ramzi.

Pakseresht’s film participated in a number of film festivals, including the 10th  DYTIATKO International Children’s Media Festival in Ukraine, the 4th Ramsagate International Film & TV Festival in the UK, the 2020 Feminist Border Arts Film Festival in the US, and the lockdown edition of the Last Frame Festival in the UK.

The MOSCA festival offers a wide range of programs with the purpose of promoting entertainment and culture through screening films.

The 13th edition of the MOSCA started on November 27 and will come to an end on December 12, 2020.
