‘Without Trial’ to vie at MEIHODO Int’l Youth Visual Media Fest

Iranian short film ‘Without Trial’ has been selected to compete at the 3rd edition of the MEIHODO International Youth Visual Media Festival (MIYVMF) in Japan.

Directed by Ali Jafari, the short narrates the story of a man who has got into trouble with the people around him and cannot communicate with them. The man tries to fix his relationship with them.

Alireza Souzanchi, Alireza Ravandel, Shahriyar Barzegar, Ali Qavi, Farbod Tajik, Mohammad Golzari, Kourosh Yadegarian, Vida Hashemian and Amirreza Mansouri are the cast of the short film.

‘Without Trial’ previously took part in the 2020 Best of Latin America Short Film Festival in the US and the 2021 Andromeda Film Festival in Turkey.

Founded in 2018, the MIYVMF aims to support young visual artists from around the world.

Based on festival’s official website, the event includes four sections of “theme works exhibition, the exchange of works, and the evaluation and award ceremony”.

The MIYVMF is slated for December 23-30, 2020.
