Mostafa Zamani appears in Yalda Night video

Incredibly popular ifilm series star Mostafa Zamani has appeared in a music video themed on the Longest Night, known as Yalda Night in Iran.

Tomorrow is celebrated as the longest night in Iran and many other countries across the globe. With this good excuse, ifilm website has published a music video themed on the auspicious occasion.

The song in the video performed by vocalist Ali Molaei is titled, ‘The Long Night’.

‘Prophet Joseph’ star, Zamani, plays in the video alongside another superstar of Iranian cinema Taraneh Alidousti.  

 Yalda is a winter solstice celebration; it is the last night of autumn and the longest night of the year. The festivities for this occasion include family gatherings in which guests have special treats such as dry nuts, watermelons and pomegranates, besides some rituals such as reading the Quran and Persian poet Hafiz’s rhyming couplets.
