Gulshan Grover picked as first non-Iranian actor for ‘Hello Mumbai 2’

Gulshan Grover is picked as the first Indian actor to join ‘Hello Mumbai 2’.

Indian actor Gulshan Grover has been picked as the first actor to join Bollywood-Iranian joint production ‘Hello Mumbai 2’.

Qorban Mohammadpour’s ‘Hello Mumbai’, which has recently kicked off pre-production stage to its sequel, took in Grover as the first non-Iranian cast member of the team.

Gover is popularly known as the "Bad Man" of Bollywood because of his ability to create an impact with his negative roles in films. He has appeared in over 400 films and is among the first actors to have made a successful transition from Bollywood to Hollywood and international cinema.

Just like the first part, the second installment of ‘Hello Mumbai’, which will be a 20-episode home market series, will also feature Mohammad-Reza Golzar with the rest of the cast team yet to be announced.

Mohammadpour’s romantic drama, recently aired by ifilm English TV, is about Ali, an Iranian exchange student who is studying in Mumbai. He comes across Karishma, his classmate, for whom life appears to be too much to handle.

Ali saves her and the two eventually fall in love. But their relationship causes many problems in Karishma’s family, as she has already been promised to a mafia leader.

The plot and character details of the second part of the movie are so far being kept under wraps.
