An Armenian media outlet has asked a number of people in Yerevan about who do they regard as a hero.
The interviewees were also showed three photos of a Russian general, an American one and Iran's General Soleimani.
They recognized General Soleimani, and while denouncing his assassination, they hailed him as a hero for supporting the oppressed people across the world.
The video is made with the cooperation of the office of Iran’s cultural attaché in Yerevan.
“He is a unique person who has fought for his country and for truth,” one of the interviewees said.
“Yes, I know General Soleimani. We love him so much in Armenia… He is a highly distinguished person… They assassinated him hostilely,” another one said.
Lt. Gen. Soleimani, who was the commander of the Quds Force of Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), was assassinated along with Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, the second-in-command of Iraq’s Popular Mobilization Units (PMU), as well as eight other people in a US drone strike at Baghdad’s international airport early on January 3.
“I don’t hold any respect for America. After all those incidents, I don’t respect it,” said one of the men who appeared in the video.
