Choral music video pays tribute to General Qassem Soleimani

New music video by ifilm English TV pays tribute to General Qassem Soleimani.

ifilm English TV has offered a new choral music video to pay tribute to General Qassem Soleimani on the occasion of his first martyrdom anniversary.

The clip has been produced by Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) and its vocal was performed by Sobhan Chorus Band.

The song has been composed and arranged by Sina Parsian and Kamran Mirzaee, while Gholam-Ali Haddad-Adel is the lyricist of the work.

The music video is produced by Meysam Mozaffari and directed by Mehran Alavi.

Below is the lyrics of the song titled ‘Turned into Sky’s Moon’:

Turned into sky’s moon, Qassem Soleimani

Glow of his face illuminated the sky

Conqueror of battlefield in war against the enemy

Man of hard days & stormy abysses

Enemy of the oppressor & friend of the oppressed

All of his actions based on Quranic verses

Part of Iran’s body, part of Islam’s body

Iranian hero, role model of being Muslim

He was an honor of the nation, standing tall like cypress

Mountain of resistance, a brave-heart from Kerman

Alas his smiling face, alas his compassionate heart

His manly eyebrows, raining eyes

Remembering his hair, I feel deeply distressed

You’re the hope for the future, eternally alive

A shining sun in a dark world

Like Malik al-Ashtar, a soldier of Imam Ali (AS)

Loyal companion of the master from Khorasan (Imam Reza (AS))

Although your wretched enemy wounded you

He will not win anything but regret

You’re a flowing reality, like awakening stream

You’ll eternally stay in hearts forever

Waves in seas, winds in deserts

Spread your name explicitly & implicitly

They sing in harmony, in rainy weather

Qassem Soleimani

General Soleimani, who was the commander of the Quds Force of Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), was assassinated along with Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, the second-in-command of Iraq’s Popular Mobilization Units (PMU), as well as eight others during a US drone strike at Baghdad’s international airport on January 3, 2020.
