Chahkavir Valley is one of the tourist attractions of Qeshm, Iran’s largest island in the Persian Gulf.

Qeshm Geopark is the first geopark, a unified area that includes sites and landscapes of international geological significance, in the Middle East.

It was registered by the Global Geoparks Network in 2006.

One of the main tourist attractions of Qeshm is the valley of Chahkavir.

The visitors of the valley would see beautiful and extra-ordinary patterns crafted by water erosion as Qeshm, which lies near the equator, receives high rainfall.

The best time to visit the valley is the last days of winter.
