Flickerfest to host Iranian ‘The Visit’

The 30th edition of the Flickerfest International Film Festival in Australia is set to host Iranian short film ‘The Visit’.

Azadeh Mousavi’s 14-minute short film will get its Australian premiere by screening at the competition titles of the Australian fest. The screening slot dedicated to the film is on January 25 at 06:30 pm.

‘The Visit’ is the story of a woman named Elaheh who is preparing to get her first visit with her incarcerated husband after several month. On this visit her little daughter will accompany her.

The cast list of the flick includes Mahin Sadri, Maneli Nafar, Afshin Hashemi and Ehsan Bayatfar.

The film has already been screened at a number of global fests, including the Exground Film Festival in Germany, the Kaohsiung Film Festival in Taiwan and the Figari Film Festival in Italy.

The Flickerfest is an international event dedicated to short films. The fest keeps high standard by meticulous observation of the leading events around the world.

This year’s edition of the fest is slated for January 22-31 in Sydney.
