Sure-to-be-Oscar-nominated ‘Nomadland’ is set to open in cinemas and VoD platforms next month.
The flick has been greatly praised by critics and audiences alike, being nominated for several awards and winning the prestigious Golden lion.
Searchlight Pictures will debut the film in traditional and drive-in theaters on February 19, 2021 (after being played in select IMAX theatres), with a simultaneous Hulu release.
Chloe Zhao’s 'Nomadland' won both the Best Feature and the Audience Choice awards at the 30th Gotham in the US on Monday, promising a good future for Frances McDormand's starrer.
The docu-fictional hybrid enjoys impressive cinematography with great performances of its professional cast, but what makes this film so special is the way it looks at how we should get out of life like a nomad. The film stars Frances McDormand as an American nomad. The admirable part of the movie is to show a romantic portrayal of life on the road without ignoring the possible potholes along the way.
