ifilm publishes report in remembrance of late Doctor Gharib

ifilm English website has published a report in remembrance of late Doctor Mohammad Gharib on his death anniversary.

ifilm audience are well acquainted with Dr. Gharib through TV series ‘Gharib’s World’. The series recounts the famous pediatrician’s life from the time he was born to the very end of his life.

Gharib, who is known as the founder of pediatric practice in Iran, established a specialized hospital to cure children.

He was born on July 5, 1909, and after graduating from school in Tehran went to France for further education. He passed away of cancer on January 21, 1975.

He was unknown to Iranian people until the series ‘Gharib’s World’ was released.
