Intl. Art Festival of Resistance to inaugurate in Tehran

The 6th International Art Festival of Resistance is to be inaugurated on February 8 in Tehran, screening a collection of artworks in the forms of poster, sculpture, typography, illustration, cartoon and caricature.

To be hosted by Iranian Artists Forum, artworks by artists from over 50 countries will go on display with health protocols and social distancing being fully observed.

A top selection of paintings submitted to the festival will be showcased at the Tehran-based Palestine Museum of Contemporary Art with a theme on “We Defeat Coronavirus” and “The U.S. Decline”.

Organized by Revayat Cultural Foundation, Alireza Zakeri, Majid Khosro-Anjam and Mohammad-Ali Rajabi make the jury members of the cartoon section. 

The event will be running until February 19.
