The house dates back to late Qajjar era and belonged to Moghadam family. The family were among the high rank officials of the Qajar era.

Professor Mohsen Moghadam was the last owner of the house. He was an archeologist in Tehran University and with the help of his wife collected and preserved many historical items.

The house of Professor Moghadam is now transformed into a museum and all the items that the couple had collected is now available to visitors and tourists.
