Karlovy Vary filmfest postponed

The 2021 edition of the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival (KVIFF) in the Czech Republic has been postponed.

The 54th edition of the event was supposed to launch on July 2-10, however it has been postponed to August 20-28, 2021.

This is while the 2020 edition of the festival totally called off over coronavirus outbreak.

The Karlovy Vary Festival is one of the oldest in the world and has become Central and Eastern Europe’s leading film event.

KVIFF cancels this year’s edition in view of the Czech government’s ongoing coronavirus measures and the complicated worldwide situation today.
