Iranian love stories to go on screen at Zurich fest

The movie ‘Seven Stories about Love’ has been selected to go on screen at the 7th edition of the Iranian Film Festival of Zurich (IFFZ) in Switzerland.

Co-directed by Houshang Alahyari and Babak Behdad, the movie presents seven love stories.

The cast list of ‘Seven Stories about Love’ includes Maryam Rahimi, Farbod Farhang, Ava Sharifi, Mohammad Khaksari, Milad Shajareh, Farzaneh Meidani, Raha Moqaddam, Behzad Farahani, and Afsaneh Heydari.

A co-production of Iran and Austria, the movie was previously screened at the Lift-Off Global Network in London.

The Canadian Silk Road Film company is responsible for the international distribution of the movie.

The IFFZ has been organized with the aim of closing the cultural gap between Iranians, Swiss and other nationalities living in Switzerland.

Based on the official website of the festival, “Each year the festival presents the Swiss audience a selection of the best contemporary feature films, fictions and documentaries from all generations of Iranian filmmakers in Zurich”.

The upcoming edition of the IFFZ will be held on May 27- June 2.
