How is Mazandaran welcoming spring?

Spring is just around the corner and every part of Iran is blooming with celebrations. People in the Iranian province of Mazandaran though have their own way to welcome spring.

They have a traditional ritual called “Nowruz Khani” that is reciting poems to praise spring. There are people whose job is to go around different cities and villages and sing amazing songs just before winter leaves us and makes space for beautiful spring.

They bring joy and happiness to people by reciting or improvising poems or religious contents in admiration of world’s renewal.
