Iranian famous vocalist Alireza Qorbani sings Saadi’s poem with a performance from international musicians.

Almost 800 years ago, Persian poet and prose writer Saadi Shirazi wrote a poem that is now considered as a statement for humanity.

The poem reads:

Human beings are members of a whole,

Since in their creation they are of one essence,

When the conditions of the time brings a member (limb) to pain,

The other members (limbs) will suffer from discomfort,

You, who are indifferent to the misery of others,

It is not fitting that they should call you a human being.

Iranian famous vocalist Alireza Qorbani along with international musicians took an effort to present the poem through the universal language of music to the audience.

Musicians from Iran, Italy, France, South Korea, Senegal, Germany, Spain, India, Argentine, the US, and Australia participated in the online performance of the piece which was composed and arranged by Pejman Tadayon.
