Nature paints Lipar Lake pink

Lipar Lake breaks down the rules of nature with its pink hues.

The lake, also known as Pink Lake, with its mesmerizing color that resembles a strawberry milkshake is located in the Iranian province of Sistan and Balouchestan.

This natural wonder has gained a pink shade due to some tidal phenomenon that carries multitude of planktons to the region.

The flora and fauna of the lake adds to its beauty. Nettles plants and oak trees are plentiful here and the region is home to birds like herons, western-swamphens, sandgrouse and tawny eagle.
