Does Shahrbanou succeed to escape Khan’s rage?

ifilm English Channel has scheduled the 28th episode of the series ‘After the Rain’ to go on screen tonight at 19:00 GMT.

As the grandchildren of Shahrbanou are getting close to the truth behind their parents’ murder, the life story of their grandmother is getting unveiled.

Going through all the difficulties and cruelties of the feudal system, Shahrbanou intends to escape the life that has been changed to a miserable whirlpool of grief for her.

As a woman under total suppression, she collects herself to save her child Setareh with the help of a serf of Khan.

After the Rain’ narrates the story of serfdom during the time of feudalism in Iran’s history.

A couple is killed in an accident, but their children believe that foul play was involved. They try to find out more about their family and discover the reason for their death by reviewing the diary of their grandmother, Shahrbanou.

Notable on cast list of the series are Sorayya Qasemi, Jahangir Almasi, Shahab Hosseini, Mahmoud Pakniyyat, Behzad Farahani, Marjan Mohtasham, the late Kioumars Malek-Motiee, and Saba Kamali.

Katayoun Riahi, the late Jamileh Sheykhi, Rahim Norouzi, Ramin Parchami, Mahvash Sabrkon, Pourandokht Mohaymen, the late Fatemeh Taheri, Fath-Ali Oveisi, Mahnaz Ansarian, Mohammad-Hadi Qomeyshi, and the late Nadia Deldar-Golchin are also among the cast members of the series.
