Iranian female director Felora Sam who has made ifilm series ‘The Colonel's Garden’ and ‘The Hidden Secret’ talks about her great losses in the pandemic.
The director said to the media that the pandemic was quite challenging for her as she lost her spouse and father during this time.
“During this pandemic, I shouldered a double psychological burden. I tried to cope with these losses; I'm not saying it was easy to deal with, it certainly was hard, but I tried to deal with these issues by spending more time with my daughter and her child,” the director said.
She also noted that some motivational books, besides watching movies, doing some physical exercise, and gardening gave her the drive to tolerate the great intensity of her losses.
The talented Iranian director, screenwriter and actress studied Theater at the University of Tehran in 1987 and made her small screen debut with drama ‘Mehr o Mah’ in 1990.
She has appeared in the series ‘Days of Life’ (1999), ‘Neighbors’ (2001), ‘Address’ (2003) and ‘Honeymoon’ (2009).
