KIDS First! to host Iranian ‘Paper God’

The KIDS First! Film Festival in the US has been scheduled to screen Iranian short flick ‘Paper God’.

Directed by Daniyal Mahmoudnia, the 10-minute film will be shown at the 2021 edition of the Canadian event.

The flick is about Ali who wants to get to the top of a cliff where all the other kids gather to play and throw paper planes. Despite being in a wheelchair, he wants to take his chance to soar.

‘Paper God’ has been the winner of the best audience choice award at the Hilltop Film Festival in the US state of Alabama.

Ali Khani, Rajou Taqavinejad, and Hossein Aqa-Mozaffari are on the cast list of the short flick.

The KIDS FIRST! Film Festival hosts international films for children and attempts to support independent and youth producers.

The 2021 edition of the event will be held on April 29-30.
