Saadi (Abu-Muhammad Muslih al-Din bin Abdallah Shirazi) is one of the greatest figures in classical Persian literature. His most famous works worldwide are ‘Bustan’ and ‘Golestan’ (The Rose Garden).
The tomb was first as Saadi’s monastery during the last years of his life, turning into his memorial after his passing.
