iFilm English TV to dig ‘Gold and Copper’ on screen

iFilm’s movie ‘Gold and Copper’ has been scheduled to be aired on Saturday night.

The movie, produced by Manouchehr Mohammadi and directed by Homayoun Asadian, is about a young scholarly seminary student who goes to the capital city of Tehran along with his family.

The student arrives in Tehran to study. After the arrival a twist of fate occurs to test his faith, as the doctors diagnose his wife with MS.

The movie cast list includes Shahin Taslimi, Negar Javaheriyan, Sahar Dolatshahi, Mehran Rajabi, Behrouz Shoeibi, and Mohammad-Javad Ezzati.

Asadian’s movie won several awards, including the best actress award, at the 28th Fajr Film Festival, the 14th Cinema House Celebration, and the 4th Celebration of Iran's Film Critics and Writers Association.

Made in 2009, ‘Gold and Copper’ is scheduled to be aired at 22:00 GMT.

iFilm English TV will also repeat the movie the next day at 04:00, 10:00 and 16:00 (all GMT times).
