‘Imam Ali (AS)’ series is one of the most memorable religious series ever made by the IRIB (Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting).

‘Imam Ali (AS)’ series is one of the most memorable religious series ever made by the IRIB (Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting).

The music composer of the impressive series has said to the media that the opening credits music is adapted from a work by Persian musician Abd al-Qader Maraqei who lived 600 years ago.

The series’ easy on the ear music dates back to 1400 years ago, which was written by the great Persian musician in his books, Farhad Fakhrodini added.

The series is themed on the life story of the first Shia Imam, Imam Ali (AS) and covers the events before the caliphate of Ali ibn Abi Talib to his martyrdom in Kufa, Iraq.

May 4 marks the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Ali (AS) in Iran. On the sad occasion of his martrdom, ifilm invites you to listen to this memorable centuries-old music and watch select scenes of the series.
