Iranians perform Eid al-Fitr prayer

Iranian people have performed Eid al-Fitr prayers in mosques and mausoleums while following coronavirus health protocols.

Eid al-Fitr prayers were held in the red and orange zones cities outdoors and in the yellow and blue zone cities in mosques and mausoleums.

Today (Thursday) in most Islamic countries, including the Islamic Republic of Iran, was announced Eid al-Fitr, a major Islamic festival marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan.

The Eid-al-Fitr is one of the major festivals in the Islamic faith and sees Muslims hold mass prayers and give money to the poor and needy.
