Aba-bafi (weaving cloak) is a dying handicraft field in the Iranian western province of Ilam.

Aba (cloak) has had various uses in the past and was mostly used as the outer garment for the people of high social status.

This craft is not only limited to Ilam Province as the southern province of Bushehr is also home to artisans practicing the 300-year-old craft of Aba.

To weave Aba, camel wool is used mostly in black, dark brown, fawn and white colors.
