Here are some interviews with a number of well-known film critics on the movie ‘The Survivor’.
Nader Talebzadeh says “It has an international aspect and the novel [which the movie has been inspired by] is foreign… He [Daad] had the knowledge of stage setting and story boarding.”
“The movie is a good example in terms of structure and strategy. It turned out well. The story is Arab and Palestine. It’s a successful example and you can’t see any Iranian trace in it," he adds.
Akbar Nabavi says “It’s a story written by an Arab about a massive human tragedy… A few important elements have had roles in the creation of ‘The Survivor’, and have made the movie eternal”.
“There is a heartfelt sympathy involved . . . It is Obvious that in ‘The Survivor’, the crew members are consonant with the director regardless of their own capabilities. Salma Al-Masri plays her role immaculately,” he continues.
