iFilm English TV to air ‘Sparrows' Dream’

iFilm’s series ‘Sparrows’ Dream’ has been scheduled to start airing on Monday night.

Starting from May 24, the series will be aired every night at 22:00 GMT. Each episode will be repeated the next day at 04:00, 10:00 and 16:00(all GMT times).

Directed by Rama Qavidel, the series narrates the story of seven boys, who are either orphans or come from troubled families.

The kids live in a rented boarding home run by the Welfare Office. They enjoy a feeling of family life thanks to their loving caretakers, Koohyar Tavakkoli, Mehri Ashrafi and Uncle Roshan.

Their happiness is short-lived though, as the landlord asks them to vacate the building. That means the boys have to live separately until they find a new place.

Things, however, take a different turn after a chance encounter in the hospital between the youngest of the boys and an old man who lives in a nearby village.

Kourosh Tahami, Ali Nasiriyan, Sam Derakhshani, Azita Hajiyan, Farhad Besharati, Mahsa Keramati, Rouhollah Kamani, and Nasser Mamdouh are among the cast members of the flick.

‘Sparrows' Dream’ is set to replace the series ‘Diary of a Housewife’.
