Pre-production of 1st Iranian-Indian series to kick off soon

The pre-production stage of ‘Hello Mumbai’, the first Iranian-Indian show, is set to kick off next week.                                   

The movie ‘Hello Mumbai’, which was aired on ifilm English TV channel, is about Ali, an Iranian student studying medicine in India, who falls in love with his Indian classmate, Karishma, but their love story is very difficult and complicated.

Qorban Mohamadpour, the writer and director of the movie ‘Hello Mumbai’, announced in a post on Instagram that a 20-episode series of the same name as the first Iranian-Indian series will be produced soon.   

The pre-production stage of the movie-turned-series will begin on May 31, according to Mohamadpour's remarks.

He stressed that the cast members of the series have not been confirmed yet.

The 2016 Iranian-Indian movie ‘Hello Mumbai’ is starring Iranian actor Mohammad-Reza Golzar and Dia Mirza from India.
