Mesmerizing scenery of Damash in Gilan

Iran is known for its rich nature and green scenery especially in the provinces that lie along the Caspian Sea.

One of the provinces close to the Caspian Sea is Gilan. With a pleasing weather and green landscape, Gilan is one of the most popular destinations for nature lovers.

A well-known spot in Gilan Province that attracts tourists from different parts of Iran is Damash village.

Located in the heights of Alborz Mountain Range, Damash village is a four season area with numerous rivers, forests, and vast grasslands. The village is home to the rare Asian species lilium ledebourii.
