‘The Occupiers’ actor Sepand Amir-Soleymani contracts coronavirus

Iranian actor Sepand Amir-Soleymani is diagnosed with COVID-19.

Iranian actor Sepand Amir-Soleymani has been diagnosed with the COVID-19 respiratory disease.

Amir-Soleymani, 43, contracted the novel coronavirus while working on a new TV series and he is now recovering.

The actor told media on Wednesday that he has self-quarantined since he was diagnosed with the COVID-19, adding that he is currently having a “fever and body pain”.

He appreciated the sympathy messages which he received from his fans after announcing his infection on social media outlets.

“I faced a wave of love,” Amir-Soleymani said.

The actor, who is suffering from asthma, expressed his hope to return to work soon, urging people to pray for him.

You may know Amir-Soleymani for the series ‘I'm a Tenant’, ‘The Occupiers’, ‘Tabriz in Fog’, ‘The Pahlavi Hat’, and ‘The Enigma of the Shah’ which were aired on iFilm English TV channel.

He has also appeared in several movies, including ‘The Outcasts’, ‘The Story of Mozzafar’, and ‘Men Are from Mars, Women Are from Venus’.
