When Java Plum trees travel from India to Iran, it was given the name of Jembo by the locals. This sour astringent fruit can be found in the southern regions of Iran.


Sapidilla Plant with its sweet brownish fruit is also grown in the southern coastline of the country.

 

Guava fruit, known as Chabahar Olive by the locals, is a tropical fruit cultivated in the Iranian city of Minab. The delicious fruit is rich with minerals such as calcium and phosphorus as well as vitamin C.
