The National Library and Archives of Iran (NLAI) has provided the Afghanistan Science Academy with 23,000 books in recent days.

She noted that the donations came as the two countries maintain close cultural ties.

During his visit to the NLAI, Gol-Ahmad Anvari, an official at the embassy of Afghanistan in Tehran, appreciated the move, adding that the academy intends to send 1,000 books by Afghan authors to the NLAI in response to the “positive interaction”.
