Iran children film festival releases feature film lineup

The 30th edition of the International Film Festival for Children and Youth has announced the Feature Films (non-cinematic) lineup.

According to the information center of the event, the selection committee chooses eight films as the official lineup for the non-cinematic features.

‘Aco’ directed by Nabi Qolizadeh, ‘August’ co-directed by Ahmad Zayeri, Mohammad Esfandiari and Mari Mouti, ‘Dream of the Role’ (Khial-e Naghsh) directed and produced by Ahmad Feizi, as well as ‘Shoka’ directed by Shahrzad Salemi are among the selected films.

The lineup goes on with ‘The Love of Nikan’ (Eshgh-e Nikan) directed by Farnaz Amini, ‘The First Student, Only’ (Faghat Shagerd-e Aval) directed by Azadeh Qochaq, ‘Happy Feet’ (Ghadam Kheyr) directed and produced by Masoud Farkhondeh-Tinatfard, and ‘The Farm of Happiness’ (Mazra'e Shadi) directed and produced by Manouchehr Darvish-Alipour.

The selection committee for the (non-cinematic) feature films is comprised of Bijan Birang, Seyyed Rouhollah Hejazi, Fatemeh Goudarzi and Ali-Akbar Baktashian.

The 30th Int’l Film Festival for Children and Young Adults will be held from June 26 to July 6 in the historic city of Isfahan.
