iFilm English TV is slated to screen famed Iranian director Ebrahim Hatamikia’s ‘Exodus’ on Saturday.
‘Exodus’ depicts the story of a group of farmers voicing their concerns to government officials.
The acclaimed Iranian flick that has bagged five nominations and two awards at the 2020 Fajr Film Festival in Iran will be aired on June 19 at 22:00 GMT.
The most notable on the cast list of the movie include Faramarz Qaribian, Pantea Panahiha, Jahangir Almasi, Giti Ghasemi, Mehdi Faqih, Sam Qaribian, and Atash Taqipour.
A short synopsis for the flick reads, “This is the story of a war veteran and his fellow hard-working cotton farmers who lose all their crops after their farms are inundated with salt water from a local dam. They decide to drive their tractors to the Presidential Office to find a solution for the problem. However, they face many obstacles on their way.”
iFilm English TV will also repeat the movie the next day at 04:00, 10:00 and 16:00 (all GMT times).
