Cannes Film Market to host ‘Dandelion Season’

Iranian movie ‘Dandelion Season’ is slated to be presented at the Cannes Film Market.

The crew of the film directed by Maryam Pirband will appear on the red carpet at this year’s edition of the event.

The multinational film includes cast and crew from Iran, Italy, Greece, Egypt, Ukraine and the US.

Renowned Iranian actress Gohar Kheirandish stars a main role at the movie.

This film tells the story of an Iranian immigrant family to the US who face many problems when their daughter escapes from the wedding ceremony.

The Marché du Film de Cannes is an annual event for the professionals in the film industry to connect.

Filmmakers, buyers, distributors and others come see the event as an opportunity to introduce their works and connect to each other.

The 74th edition of the Cannes International Film Festival is scheduled for July 6-17, 2021.
