Italian Cartoon Club to screen Iranian animation ‘Tweet’

Iranian short animation ‘Tweet’ has been picked to participate in the International Cartoon Club Festival in Italy.

Directed, produced and written by Iman Lotfian, the animation which is a combination 2D and 3D techniques (AKA 2.5D) will vie at the competition section of the 37th edition of the Italian event.

‘Tweet’ tells the story of a number of chickens that have become strangers to each other because they have been dyed. Now they are fighting due to not knowing each other any longer.

The International Cartoon Club Festival is one of the best-known festivals in the Italian scene.

It is a remarkable window for animation works, short films in particular – fiction, educational, experimental, computer graphic – and with a whole section solely dedicated to comics and games.

The 37th edition of the cinematic event will take place on July 15-25, 2021 in Rimini, Italy.
