Iranian drama ‘Hengameh’ (2015), a sad romance based on a true story, is now available to the public.

Directed by Amir Dasargar, the drama tells the story of voluntary forces that join the axis of resistance in Syria and Iraq to stop the axis of evil, Daesh terrorist group.

They endanger their own lives in order not to let the terrorist group get empowered, wreak havoc on the region, and serve the interests of their allies.

Produced at Office of Islamic Republic Cultural Front Studies, ‘Hengameh’ is a narrative about an Iranian couple whose life is full of ups and downs. Hamed plans to travel to Syria to join the forces and fight against the terrorists.

The martyrdom of one of his close friends changes his schedule for the trip and he is forced to delay it. His wife, Hengameh, is busy with her final exams and is not in high spirits as she is concerned about his husband.

The film shows Hamed getting ready to departure for Syria that all of a sudden his wife tells him that she is expecting a baby.

Notable on the cast list of the drama are Amin Imani and Sogol Tahmasebi.

‘Hengameh’ is now available to the public via the streaming service of Vimeo.
