‘Witness’ to screen at Busan Kids filmfest

Iranian short film ‘Witness’ is slated to vie at the Busan International Kids and Youth Film Festival in South Korea.

Directed by Ali Asgari, the 15-minute film made its way to the 16th edition of the event.

“With her daughter waiting impatiently in the car, a mother helps an elderly woman in a shopping mall in Tehran. A tragedy occurs, brutally confronting her with the impact of her actions”, a brief synopsis of ‘Witness’ reads.

The script of the short flick has been put together by Asgari and Farnoush Samadi.

The 16th Busan International Kids and Youth Film Festival is currently underway from July 5-12, 2021.
