Get to know Iran short at Cannes 2021

‘Orthodontics’ by Iranian director  Mohammadreza Mayghani is a short film running at 2021 Cannes.

The short will be screened on July 16 at the France-based event, running for the 2021 Short Film Palme d’Or alongside 9 other shorts from such countries as Kosovo, China and France.

The 14-minute Iran entry called ‘Orthodontics’ by Mayghani is themed on the social life of a teenager in society. 

The story of this film is taken from Mohammad Reza's personal experiences as a teenager when he had orthodontic treatment and the effects of this treatment on that period of his life.
