Canadian fest to host Iranian short ‘Vent’

Iranian short flick ‘Vent’ has been selected to compete at the 21st edition of the Nickel Independent Film Festival in Canada.

Directed by Amin Fallahzadeh, the short film is about a pizza delivery guy who is delivering a rich man’s order but the old man’s guests have left him.

Also written by Fallahzadeh, the cast list of the short film includes Behzad Dorani, Amir-Hossein Mehmandoust, Faranak Oftadehhal, and Youkabed Mousavi.

The Nickel Independent Film Festival hosts films from around the world and provides an opportunity for filmmakers to present their works.

The festival also includes educational programs and workshops.

The 2021 edition of the event is slated for July 19-25.
