Iranian ‘Heaven’ to vie at Greek fest

Iranian animation ‘Heaven’ is to vie at the 2021 Animart Festival in Greece.

Iranian animation ‘Heaven’ has been selected to compete at the 15th edition of the Animart Festival in Greece.

Directed by Majid-Reza Eivazi, the animation is about the issue of putting jungles on fire by the human beings.

‘Heaven’ narrates the story of a fox that hunts a crow and eats it. But then, the fox is hunted by a man who later puts the jungle on fire.

Eivazi says “we see a man who causes the jungle to catch fire and he is burned with the fire he started”.

It took Eivazi two years to make this animation as an independent work.

The Animart Festival is a platform for students from all over the world to participate in their animated films, digital artwork such as paintings, cartoons, photographs, etc.

The 2021 edition of the event is slated for July 20-25.
