iFilm English TV to air ‘Standing in the Dust’

iFilm’s docudrama ‘Standing in the Dust’ has been scheduled to go on air on July 17, 2021.

The movie, produced by Habibollah Valinezhad and directed by Mohammad-Hossein Mahdavian, reviews a story of Iraq-Iran war.

‘Standing in the Dust’ is a multiple award-winning biography/drama about Ahmad Motevasselian, one of Iran’s most legendary commanders during the Iraqi-imposed war on Iran.

The movie depicts the real-life events of this great commander who is regarded as one of Iran’s most well-respected contemporary national heroes. But what’s most intriguing about Ahmad Motevasselian is not just his bravery and love of the motherland, but his fate.

The movie cast list includes Hadi Hejazifar, Amir-Hossein Hashemi, Soudeh Azqandi, Farhad Fadakar, and Emad Mohammadi.

‘Standing in the Dust’, made in 2015, is scheduled to go on air at 22:00 GMT.

iFilm English will also repeat the movie the next day at 04:00, 10:00 and 16:00 (all GMT times).
