‘Behind the Door’ receives award at Hollywood Int’l Golden Age fest

Iranian short film ‘Behind the Door’ has been honored at the 2021 monthly Hollywood International Golden Age Festival (Higa) in the US.

Directed by Morteza Ebadipour, ‘Behind the Door’ received the best screenplay award from the Higa on Saturday.

Maryam Taheri, Farhan Naghipour and Shahram Hayati star in this film.

‘Behind the Door’ is the narrative of a lonely woman who, when a little boy enters her house, is forced to give in to his demands without being aware of the consequences of defying his commands. 

The Hollywood International Golden Age Festival is a monthly New York based short film festival with a yearly event. Every month, the jury awards the best films through private screenings. Monthly award winners may be chosen to compete in the online annual award.
