iFilm exclusive on Iranian feature ‘It Became Blood’

iFilm English TV has released an exclusive report on Iranian feature film ‘It Became Blood’ (There Was Blood) directed by Masoud Kimiaee.

iFilm interviewed the producer Javad Norouz-Beigi, the investor Sadeq Ranjkeshan, the director of photography Alireza Zarrindast, the actor Shapour Kalhor, and the film critic Ehsan Tahmasebi.

Kimiaee’s latest film features Nasrin Moqanlou, the star in ‘Third Sense’, as the lead.

“The story of ‘It Became Blood’ is like an old house with all the lights off and no one living in its rooms. Meanwhile, one of the residents of the house arrives and turns all the lights on,” Kimiaee said.

Critics have admired the movie and all acknowledged that ‘It Became Blood’ is one of the most different films on Kimiaee’s directing resume.

Besides Moqanlou, Saeed Aqakhani, Siamak Ansari, Leila Zare and Siamak Safari are on the cast list.
