Directed by Yasser Talebi for five years, the film follows the story of Sorayya and Seyyed-Jalal, an underprivileged old couple who live in a distant village in the north of Iran.
‘I Won’t Remain Alone’ paints pictures of forgiveness, love, humanity and immortality.
Set to go on screen at the Regina International Film Festival & Awards in Canada, the documentary was shown at the Short Shorts Film Festival & Asia in Japan and the Thessaloniki Documentary Festival in Greece.
‘I Won’t Remain Alone’ won the best documentary on survival of indigenous peoples at the 28th edition of the Parnu International Documentary Film Festival in Estonia.
