Turkmen rugs are an ancient heritage in Iran that enjoys worldwide popularity and fame.

One of the main characteristics of Turkmen carpets is their texture.

Most of the hand-woven carpets in Iran are made of cotton yarns, but the yarns used in making the Turkmen rugs are made of sheep wool.

After weaving a Turkmen carpet, the stage of shortening the lint begins.
