Departed stuntman Arsha Aqdasi donates organs to saves lives

Iranian deceased stuntman Arsha Aqdasi has donated his organs to saves lives.

Before transporting his corpse to Tehran, his organs will be donated to save lives based on his last will and testament.

The high-profile stuntman was harshly injured during shooting the new film project of Indian director Siddharth Anand last week in Beirut.

Reportedly, his neck was injured when a car he was in turned over and he was placed in an induced coma by the doctors.

Born in 1982, the founder of Stunt 13 – a major studio for Iranian stuntmen, Aqdasi cooperated in several international projects, including ‘Skyfall’ which is a 2012 James Bond venture.

Among his other works, the most notable ones are ‘Bang Bang’ (2014) by Anand, ‘Kung Fu Yoga’ (2017) by Stanley Tong from Hong Kong, ‘Dying of the Light‎’ (2014) by Paul Joseph Schrader from the US, as well as several Iranian series and movies, including ‘Dark Intelligence’, ‘Passion to Fly’, ‘When the Moon Was Full’, ‘Exodus’, and ‘Damascus Time’.

He also acted in movies such as ‘Murphy's Law’ (the clown) and ‘Bang Bang’ (the bad man).

In addition to his activities in the world of cinema, Aqdasi was a master and instructor in several sports fields, including horse-riding, parachuting, free fall, base jumping, parkour, and martial arts such as Aikido.

The video above, recently published by the Owj Media Organization, producer of the movie, shows parts of his stunts for iFilm’s movie ‘Damascus Time’ directed by Ebrahim Hatamikia.
